Your Why and Vision
This statement has to have a Deep Why and Purpose with Principles, Vision in it, that has Life in it, that can push you and others – forward –
So we can work Together, in a Synergistic – Inspired – Unified – Uplifting way… this must be worked on with other people’s imput and inspiration…
To this End the same as the City of Enoch…
Moses 7:18
18 And the Lord called his people Zion, because they were of one heart and one mind, and dwelt in righteousness; and there was no poor among them..
What are the Principles – you can use and work on that will never need to be changed? What are the Priesthood Powers and Principles you can use that are Eternal? What is the shared vision that never grows old but continues to lift and empower the people to work together in more then just an inspired way?…
There are many groups that have come and gone but only one that has pulled this off again and again – with the same leader and guidance… only saints and latter day saints have done this to my knowledge and these princples and powers have withstood the test of time…
Yes faith in the Godhead and Power in the Priesthood – from raising people from the dead, to moving mountains into the sea, and even stopping the world from spinning! The Power of Gods – Real Gods – Gods that still exist and will continue to exist…
People united in Faith, Humility and Even Repentance – by covenants – with and Through Jesus Christ, Heavenly Father and the Holy Ghost…
Power in the Priesthood – Through Jesus Christ our Lord – Glory be to the Father and his son the Holy Ghost…
Virtue – One of the most Powerful Characteristics of Godliness is Virtue – D&C 121 – Priesthood Power and Confidence are here!
45 Let thy bowels also be full of charity towards all men, and to the household of faith, and let virtue garnish thy thoughts unceasingly; then shall thy confidence wax strong in the presence of God; and the doctrine of the priesthood shall distil upon thy soul as the dews from heaven.
Patience – All of us need more of this!
D&C 21 – 5 For his word ye shall receive, as if from mine own mouth, in all patience and faith. ( the Word of the Lord through living Prophets – especially Joseph Smith )…
43 Reproving betimes with sharpness, when moved upon by the Holy Ghost; and then showing forth afterwards an increase of love toward him whom thou hast reproved, lest he esteem thee to be his enemy; ( Showing and increase of Love as you correct some one..)
Godliness – D&C 84:20-22 ( More on the Priesthood and it’s powers in this Section!)
20 Therefore, in the ordinances thereof, the power of godliness is manifest.
21 And without the ordinances thereof, and the authority of the priesthood, the power of godliness is not manifest unto men in the flesh;
22 For without this no man can see the face of God, even the Father, and live.
Humility – A key virtue with Faith, and Dilgence –
D&C 104:78-80 ( Connected with the Power to Get out of Debt – this is key to getting out of bondage etc.)
78 And again, verily I say unto you, concerning your debts—behold it is my will that you shall pay all your debts.
79 And it is my will that you shall humble yourselves before me, and obtain this blessing by your diligence and humility and the prayer of faith.
80 And inasmuch as you are diligent and humble, and exercise the prayer of faith, behold, I will soften the hearts of those to whom you are in debt, until I shall send means unto you for your deliverance.
Diligence – Exactness and honor are connected to this Godly Trait…
Section 107: 99-100 Another Key Section on the Priesthood…
99 Wherefore, now let every man learn his duty, and to act in the office in which he is appointed, in all diligence.
100 He that is slothful shall not be counted worthy to stand, and he that learns not his duty and shows himself not approved shall not be counted worthy to stand. Even so. Amen.
Knowledge – this is applied Knowledge – step by step – grace by grace –
D&C Section 93:23-25 – Jesus Grew by this Process! ( This is another key Power when Applied in exactness and diligence grows your Godliness! )
23 Ye were also in the beginning with the Father; that which is Spirit, even the Spirit of truth;
24 And truth is knowledge of things as they are, and as they were, and as they are to come;
25 And whatsoever is more or less than this is the spirit of that wicked one who was a liar from the beginning.
Abound – These Gifts and Characteristics – must abide in us or we can not be fruitful in the Lord –
30 The decisions of these quorums, or either of them, are to be made in all righteousness, in holiness, and lowliness of heart, meekness and long-suffering, and in faith, and virtue, and knowledge, temperance, patience, godliness, brotherly kindness and charity;
31 Because the promise is, if these things abound in them they shall not be unfruitful in the knowledge of the Lord.
32 And in case that any decision of these quorums is made in unrighteousness, it may be brought before a general assembly of the several quorums, which constitute the spiritual authorities of the church; otherwise there can be no appeal from their decision.
Election Sure – As you Put God first and his will – Your Calling and Election Sure will come… This is Personal and Sacred… etc… ( Between you and Godhead! )
47 But charity is the pure love of Christ, and it endureth forever; and whoso is found possessed of it at the last day, it shall be well with him.
48 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, pray unto the Father with all the energy of heart, that ye may be filled with this love, which he hath bestowed upon all who are true followers of his Son, Jesus Christ; that ye may become the sons of God; that when he shall appear we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is; that we may have this hope; that we may be purified even as he is pure. Amen.
33 Preach unto them repentance, and faith on the Lord Jesus Christ; teach them to humble themselves and to be meek and lowly in heart; teach them to withstand every temptation of the devil, with their faith on the Lord Jesus Christ.
34 Teach them to never be weary of good works, but to be meek and lowly in heart; for such shall find rest to their souls.
I fear that too many have sadly surrendered their agency to the adversary and are saying by their conduct, “I care more about satisfying my own desires than I do about bearing the Savior’s power to bless others.”
Today I would like to speak about how we can draw into our lives the power of our Lord and Master, Jesus Christ.
We begin by learning about Him. “It is impossible for [us] to be saved in ignorance.” The more we know about the Savior’s ministry and mission—the more we understand His doctrine and what He did for us—the more we know that He can provide the power that we need for our lives. ( Look unto Christ – doubt not and fear not – He is over all the Earth! D&C 6:36 )
Body, Spirit, Mind, Home, community, Government, Groups, Labor, time, Gifts, all you are or will ever be.
May years ago as a Young man – a Patriarch of God told me many things – imortant and sacred things – Revelation and Prophet are alive and well today and will continue in the future – in this Church – the Church of Jesus Christ of latter day Saints…
